This is a program that supports new employees to become familiar with new roles and companies by having senior employees (Buddy) from the assigned department for three months after joining the company. It helps new employees to acquire knowledge and work skills.
We have a monthly online project and business skills knowledge sharing session for all our offices around the world. Vena Energy is staffed by professionals in a variety of fields.
Employees can take courses and lessons for licenses and certifications required for their work. The company will subsidies a portion the payments for the licences and certifications.
Once every two to three months, we hold an employee social event with light meals and drinks at our Tokyo office. It is a great opportunity to get to know each other.
This leave is granted for participation in community and volunteer activities. (2 days per year) Vena Energy encourages active community involvement.
About half of the employees have used this leave.
Each employees can take up to 6 days per year to spend time with their family (including their pets) to spend time or to care for them. (One of the day is for birthday leave).
